Data protection
Cookies
Our website uses cookies*. But you can tell your browser not to accept them, because our site seems to work perfectly fine without them.
We asked the nerds who programmed the site if they could get rid of the cookies completely. Apparently they can’t, but we don’t understand why. But since they are so-called session cookies they should delete themselves when you close your browser.
*Cookie is also the American word for biscuit. Which doesn’t make much sense, because biscuits are baked and not cooked.
Google Analytics
We don’t use Google Analytics. Google knows enough about everyone already.
Information privacy
If you contact us we will save the data you have given us so that we can reply. If there appears to be no reason for hanging onto your details, they will eventually be deleted.
We don’t pass on or sell any data to third parties. Because we are nice. And because we haven’t worked out how to make any money from it.
If you want to know if any of our translators have information about you, send an e-mail directly to the translator(s) you find most suspicious. He and/or she will tell you everything they know about you and then delete it all if you wish. Because at Textunion we absolutely love the EU data protection laws and would never ever do anything wrong.
